We aim to cater for students of all experience levels. We vary the classes from term to term to give you the chance to particpate in a variety of courses designed to meet the interest of our students. If you have a project that you may wish to be taught, or are a group of Patchworkers, that would be like to taught a particular project, then please contact us and make arangements as we can offer this in store or we can travel to you.

CL0010 KALIDASCOPE QUILT Class: Friday13 th June , Finish Friday 27th June Time: 10.00 pm – 3.30 pm morning and afternoon tea provided, ½ hour lunch break. Do you want to make a quilt a little difference? By using a Kaleidoscope ruler learn to make an Octagonal Block in a Stack and Whack method. This can be done by either using a border fabric or just by using a fabric with a great design to make these Octagonal shaped blocks that are used on this quilt. Make the quilt as big as you wish. The pattern will allow you to work out how many blocks you will need to make either a Lap quilt, double or queen. In this class you will learn how to cut and sew this magical quilt in the fabrics and colours of you choice and also add borders to the finished centre panel of octagonal blocks. $60.00 / INCLUDES PATTERN
CL0009 CHRISTMAS STOCKING WITH A DIFFERENCE Day Class: Wednesday 18th June Time: 9.00 am – 12.00 pm morning tea provided. Night Class: Thursday 26th June Time: 6.00 pm – 9.0 pm supper provided With Christmas fast approaching 3 months from the date of this class to be exact, what a great little gift to give to that someone special, either male or female. These stockings can be made from Christmas fabric that you love and would look great for them to be hung on the mantle piece for Santa to fill. These stocking will be fully made in class. In this class you will make a male and female stocking. $30.00 / INCLUDES PATTERN
CL0008 PLACE MATS AND SERVIETTES Class: Wednesday 4th June Time9.30 pm – 1.00 pm morning tea provided Have you got lots of strips of left over patchwork fabrics in your stash that are too small to use in blocks but are too good to throw away then come and learn the technique of making these place mats for your table. This class will teach you how to sew them into position using wadding and a backing all in one process. Learn how to bind them and then make accompanying serviettes to go with them. Make them in your colours that will suit your dιcor and will just be the talk of the dinner table when you have guest come around. $25.00 / CLASS
CL0007 STACK AND WHACK QUILT Class: Wednesday 19th March, Finish Wednesday 2nd April Time: 10.00 pm – 3.30 pm morning and afternoon tea provided, ½ hour lunch break. To start the New Year we have been asked to refresh people's memories with the old Stack and Wack. This over the past couple of years has been a very popular quilt with the new patch worker or for the more experienced. You begin with a piece of fabric and stack the repeats and then cut so that a Kaleidoscope block appears when pieced together. You will make 18 blocks in total and each one will be different. You can choose in this class to make a quilt in three sizes. Your choice. $60.00 / includes Pattern
CL0006 FREE MOTION QUILTING Class: Day: Monday 10th March, Time: 10.00 pm – 1.00 pm morning tea provided, Night Class: Thursday 10th April Time: 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm supper provided Day Class: Wednesday 7th May Time: 10.00 pm – 1.00 pm morning tea provided Would you like to learn how to do free motion quilting which would enable yourself to finish off your quilts in a more professional manner? In this class you will learn how to stipple and do free motion quilting using your machine and will learn the techniques that are used to make this just a simple task. All you have to bring to this class is your machine; quilting foot (darning or Pogo Foot on some machines). We will supply you with a kit to make things easier for yourselves. $30.00 / includes kit
CL0005 SEW AND SHARE MORNING Class: Ist Friday every Month. Time: 10.00 am – 12.30 pm Come and enjoy the company of others and get to know people while you are sewing, embroidery or quilting any of your work? Want some help with unfinished works that you are doing? Not sure of how something is done? Then this is the place you should come to. We are all here to help and teach each other as well as make friends. You can come along and finish those UFOs that you have stacked up. $2.00 / for cuppa
CL0004 SIMPLY TRIANGLES DAY Class : Day Class: Wednesday 30th April , Finish Wednesday 14th May Time: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm morning tea provided. Night Class: Thursday 13th March, Finish Thursday 237th March Time: 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm supper provided Cost: $40.00 includes a pattern. Do you want to learn patchwork or a seasoned patch worker, but want something simple and elegant to make. Then try this quilt. It is made using two half square triangles in two colour shades of your choice. These two half square triangles are then joined in groups of four to form a unit which is then placed together to form this great quilt. You can make this quilt in whatever size you wish from a lap quilt to king. The choice is yours. $40.00 / includes pattern
CL0003 TABLE RUNNER Class: Day: COMMENCE Monday 17th March, FINISH Monday 31st March Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm morning tea provided.Wo uld you like to make a Table centre for your Dining Room Table that will bve the envy of everyone sitting at it? This is paper peiced and done in your favourite fabrics. It is easy to do and construction is done over two classes, so as the runner will be done over the two classes so the runner will be finished for you to use at the end of the second class. $35.00 / includes pattern
CL0002 QUILTED OVERNIGHT BAG BACK BY DEMAND ONCE AGAIN Class A: Day: Monday, May 12th Time: 9.30 am – 3.00, ½ hour lunch break and morning tea will be provided Class B: Night: Tuesday May 20th and Finish May 27th B Time: 6.00 pm – 8.30 Supper will be provided Have you a trip coming up or just need a utility bag, or maybe you are having a new grandchild? Then this lovely bag may be just what you need. It is made from 100% cotton fabric with a lining and is quilted. You may use the fabric of your choice to make this bag for any occasion or use. This bag will be fully finished in the one class if you are doing the day class or two classes if you do the night class. See the sample and you will love the bag. $50.00 / includes pattern
CL0001 Cushions Galore Date: Wednesday 5th March Time: 9.30 a.m. till 4.00pm. Do you want to make some presents for people that are close to you or that someone who is very special without spending a fortune. Then come and learn how to make these cushions using Foundation piecing. Choose from over 50 designs. You will also learn how to put a zipper, and do piping. $35.00 / plus foundation paper
